I am the proud mother of two sons, two dogs and a cat, I love my garden and being out in nature. I am also a qualified yoga teacher who is passionate about health and wellbeing including running, lifting weights and cold water swimming.
My story showcases my path to freedom from the alcohol trap and how it led me to become a passionate advocate for others seeking a healthier, alcohol-free life.

What Is Sober Coaching?
Sober coaching provides a non-judgmental and confidential approach to clients, offering a structured plan for moving forward. Together, we work to help you reach your personal goals, bridging the gap from where you are now to where you want to be, and overcoming the challenges that stand in your way. We do this through the power of asking thought-provoking questions.
This approach is particularly beneficial for individuals who fall into the category known as 'grey area drinkers', a term coined by Jolene Park. Grey area drinkers consume more alcohol than they should but do not meet the criteria for alcohol use disorder or addiction. They may struggle to control their alcohol consumption, leading to increasing consequences. Often, they turn to alcohol excessively or as a means to numb their emotions.
It's important to note that sober coaching is not therapy or counselling. Instead, it's a supportive partnership aimed at helping you achieve your goals by actively listening and assisting you in discovering the right path that suits your unique needs. This may involve embarking on a 30, 60, or 90-day challenge to break free from the alcohol trap, or it may be a more permanent commitment to an alcohol-free lifestyle.

How I Can Help You
An introductory session, lasting approximately 20 minutes, allows us to delve into the inner workings of sober coaching. It's an opportunity for us to explore how this process can benefit you and to determine if we're a suitable match. This session is offered free of charge, with no obligation.
What Is Alcohol?
A single informative session delving into the knowledge of what alcohol truly is, lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour. This session can be conducted on a one-on-one basis or as a group presentation, making it an ideal addition to corporate wellness packages for employees.
Sober Coaching Session
A one-time, hour-long session designed to kickstart your journey towards sobriety with a a non-judgmental and confidential approach. These sessions can be conducted over the phone, in person, or via Zoom/Facetime, scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time and date.
Sober Coaching Package
A package consisting of three 45-minute to 1-hour sessions, providing a non-judgmental and confidential approach to assist you in achieving your goals and progressing from your current state to where you aspire to be. These sessions can be conducted over the phone, in person, or via Zoom/Facetime, scheduled at mutually agreed-upon times and dates. The frequency of sessions, whether they are weekly, biweekly, or monthly, can be determined during the initial session.
